The Risk Management Summer Analyst Program at MUFG is designed to help you learn how we maintain a disciplined approach to identifying, assessing, managing, reporting, and mitigating risks.

Program Overview:
  • Opportunity to participate in activities that foster networking with peers, managers, and colleagues across MUFG.
  • Programs last 10 weeks, but can extend beyond that time depending on the project requirements, analyst availability, and business needs.
  • Summer Analysts are partnered with members of the Next Generation Leaders Enterprise Resource Group who provide additional mentorship to assist in acquiring greater professional knowledge and gain confidence to take responsibility for their career development.
  • Summer Analysts will also work with other Risk Management analysts on a team project, sponsored by Risk Executives, with the chance to present as a team to Americas Risk Management Leadership.
  • Program locations are primarily based in downtown Los Angeles, Irvine, Monterey Park, San Francisco, Jersey City, New York, and Tempe.
  • Your experience in the program could lead to a future career in Risk with MUFG.

  • Strong academic standing
  • Enrollment at a 4-year college or university as a full-time student throughout the duration of the Summer Analyst Program
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Initiative, self-discipline, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • MUFG will not hire individuals for internships or entry-level positions whose work eligibility is based on their F-1 or other student visa status
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and would not require visa sponsorship now, or in the future
