The Information Technology for the Americas team is responsible for IT strategy, infrastructure, architecture, corporate systems (HR, audit, risk, etc.), and applications for the company. In this capacity, it supports our lines of business and corporate functions, with a focus on developing and delivering against an end-to-end technology strategy that supports MUFG’s business objectives to become more efficient and more effectively serve clients. The goal is for our technology services to help improve the client experience, empower colleagues in their work, and drive efficiency across the organization.

What will you gain from the Summer Analyst Program?
The Technology Summer Analyst Program provides you with hands-on experience and insight into operations and technology in the banking industry.
- Work Experience: This program will give you an opportunity to work with experienced professionals on projects related to your current studies.
- Networking Opportunity: Analysts come from a wide variety of schools and backgrounds. In addition, you will collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders throughout MUFG.
- Training Courses: MUFG offers training sessions for you on a variety of subjects.
ANALYST ASSIGNMENTS
INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT
The Summer Analyst Program provides an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to the success of our business units, while learning from experience and exposure to professionals throughout the bank.
- Assignments include a project deliverable that is due at the end of the program
- Summer Analysts will collaborate with multiple teams across Technology
- Projects will build on existing skills and provide challenging opportunities to learn new skills
GROUP PROJECT
At the start of the Summer Analyst Program, you will meet with your project leader and team members to collaborate on your assignment
- Each project team will address a Technology challenge
- Project teams will share their findings and prepare and deliver a presentation to senior leaders
- Summer Analysts will be provided exposure to Technology functions beyond the departments to which they are assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- You are a rising senior and preferably have a GPA of 3.0 or above
- You excel at working independently or as a team member and enthusiastic about collaborating with groups across the organization
- You are technologically savvy and have mastered the Microsoft Office Suite
- You are a self-starter with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, integrity, and ability to creatively solve problems
- MUFG will not hire individuals for internships or entry-level positions whose work eligibility is based on their F-1 or other student visa status
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and would not require visa sponsorship now, or in the future

PROJECT MANAGEMENT ACADEMY
Those who are interested in project management can be considered for the Project Management Academy upon successful completion of the Summer Analyst Program. Participants will learn directly from our professionals about our project management tools, processes and project life cycle.
This two-year recent-graduate program encompasses 120 hours of comprehensive project management training, a 12-month rotational program, and real-world project assignments to reinforce newly learned concepts. After completing the program, you will receive guidance on obtaining your certification.
