Our 10-week Corporate Investment Banking & Markets Summer Analyst Program is designed to provide rising seniors with hands-on experience and business exposure in the world of finance and banking.   • Career Progression: Top-performing summer analysts may receive a full-time offer and will be eligible to join our analyst program the following year.
  • Work Experience: You will support deals and client-driven projects by conducting financial analysis, modeling, industry and company research, presentation preparation, and assisting with pitch books. Exact type of work will vary depending on the placement group.
  • Support and Guidance: You will be placed in a specific group that allows you to concentrate and quickly develop the skills and knowledge required to become an integral part of the team. MUFG professionals at all levels will serve as your instructors and mentors. At the end of the program, you will leave with a better understanding of the world of global finance and an insider’s perspective that can only be acquired from serving multinational clients with complex financial needs.
  • Training: You will receive in-depth technical, financial products and/or markets training during the first week of the program.

  • Corporate Banking: U.S. Corporate (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco)
  • Investment Banking: Capital Markets (Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Capital Markets, Loan Syndications), Corporate Advisory, Global Financial Solutions, Project Finance (New York & Los Angeles), Securitized Products, Supply Chain Finance, Leasing and Asset Finance (Los Angeles)
  • Global Markets: Sales & Trading opportunities across Credit, FX, Rates, U.S. Corporate Derivative Sales, Institutional Investor Sales

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are a rising senior and preferably have a GPA of 3.3 or above, along with recommended course work in finance, accounting or economics
  • Strong interest in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or Global Markets
  • Technologically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong verbal, writing, mathematical and statistical skills
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and individual initiative, self discipline and integrity, strong leadership qualities and the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams, and collaborating with groups across the organization
  • MUFG will not hire individuals for internships or entry-level positions whose work eligibility is based on their F-1 or other student visa status
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and would not require visa sponsorship now, or in the future
