The ISA Summer Analyst Program provides analysts with hands-on experience and insight into technology and operations in the banking industry.

Analyst Assignments

Individual Assignment

The Summer Analyst Program provides an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to the success of our business units, while learning from and gaining exposure to experienced professionals throughout the bank.

  • Assignments include a project deliverable that is due at the end of the program
  • Summer Analysts may be exposed to multiple areas within ISA
  • Projects will build on existing skills and provide opportunities to learn new skills

Group Assignment

At the start of the Summer Analyst Program, you will meet with your project leader and team members to collaborate on your assignment.

  • Each project team will address an ISA challenge
  • Project teams will share their findings and prepare and deliver a presentation to senior leaders
  • The group project will provide each Summer Analyst with exposure to ISA functions beyond the department to which they are assigned

  • Strong academic standing
  • Enrollment at a 4-year college or university as a full-time student throughout the duration of the Summer Analyst Program
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Initiative, self-discipline, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • MUFG will not hire individuals for internships or entry-level positions whose work eligibility is based on their F-1 or other student visa status
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and would not require visa sponsorship now, or in the future

Project Management Academy

Upon successful completion of the Summer Analyst Program, individuals will be considered for our Project Management Academy (PMA) program. Participants will learn directly from our professionals about our project management tools, processes and project life cycle.

This two-year recent graduate program encompasses 120 hours of comprehensive project management training, a 12-month rotational program, and real-world project assignments to reinforce newly learned concepts. After completing the program, you will receive guidance on obtaining your PMI (Project Management Institute) certification.
