Brief summary of the role:

Bank Operations Planning and Control Specialist

The Operations Control Specialist performs administrative and coordination functions to support Operations Policy, Planning and Control activities.

Job Details:

  • Develops and maintains document and records inventory and control lists.

  • Develops and maintains system user and access rights for all supplier systems and department folders that reflect policy and procedures.

  • Initiates and coordinates the periodic review of policies, procedures and forms to ensure the same remain current.

  • Updates contact lists, forms and procedures under the guidance of the AVP and other senior managers.

  • Maintains log of non-standard operating issues and activities and tracks completion of the same with responsible parties.  This includes open-issues and incidents and adhoc requests from other departments. 

  • Compiles and distributes monthly KRI and other Operations statistics. 

  • Provides secretarial support to management meetings. Drafts agendas, compiles and distributes meeting minutes and maintains action logs. 

  • Supports the AVP and other senior managers on operations projects. 

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Two years of experience in a similar role.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Organized, ability to multi-task and detail oriented.  

  • Able to work independently under own initiative with minimal supervision to complete assignments. 

  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field of study at university or college level
