Brief summary of the role:
Bank Operations Planning and Control Specialist
The Operations Control Specialist performs administrative and coordination functions to support Operations Policy, Planning and Control activities.
Develops and maintains document and records inventory and control lists.
Develops and maintains system user and access rights for all supplier systems and department folders that reflect policy and procedures.
Initiates and coordinates the periodic review of policies, procedures and forms to ensure the same remain current.
Updates contact lists, forms and procedures under the guidance of the AVP and other senior managers.
Maintains log of non-standard operating issues and activities and tracks completion of the same with responsible parties. This includes open-issues and incidents and adhoc requests from other departments.
Compiles and distributes monthly KRI and other Operations statistics.
Provides secretarial support to management meetings. Drafts agendas, compiles and distributes meeting minutes and maintains action logs.
Supports the AVP and other senior managers on operations projects.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Two years of experience in a similar role.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Organized, ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
Able to work independently under own initiative with minimal supervision to complete assignments.
Post-secondary diploma in a related field of study at university or college level
